That letter does not mean shit without bankruptcy paperwork go after the owners.

That letter resembles the one we got from Barry Brown of Salto Freight fame out of NS... We were never able to collect or speak to anyone again.
We put him on credit hold early May and he ignored us and stop shipping with us. May 26th we handed to our legal representative. By my count there are 2 here that were taken, 3 partner carriers we use and ourselves. Plus I think he burned our direct competitor as well.

A carrier will have recourse to any party listed on the BOL, despite people like this that collect and disconnect the phone. Scummy thing to do, but I believe in Karma so...
