SVI numbers

I am the only one having this problem.........I attempt to input SVI numbers into my CTPAT account to verify their status with CTPAT and the numbers are so difficult to understand. Is it a zero or letter O. Is there a standard number letter combination? How come some SVI# are short and sweet and others are over 20 characters?

Dietcoke, when confirming the status of c-tpat members through the portal, i have been able to do this, by searching the company's name in question.

Is there a way of obtaining the SVI from the site so I can monitor it?

No, i don't think so. you will need to obtain them from applicable companies you deal with, e-mail works best, given the complexity of some of the numbers as you know, as well the c-tpat people can see you've been tracking you're associates status !! SVI # Status can be monitored under the partner tab on left side of portal
