Didn't think they broker freight ... they run stuff to/from Manitoba and Northern Michigan/Minnesota type of thing for us. Solid service.
 
They are actually on Guelph St in Kitchener Pitbull. Who have you been talking to over there? I have known/dealt with them for years and find it very strange.
 
Interesting, what is she saying about it? I know they wouldn't wait that long to get paid for something they have billed.

She will try and get it out this week. She seems like a nice person, I think she will pay, just needs some time. I am not sure what the problems are. Unfortunately 90 days is too long for us.
 
We have been dealing with Marg for quite some time. They have often dropped freight on our dock for delivery. She did tell me that they are either going to sell or just close the doors and will retire. She actually declined freight from me because they were closing. I would be completely amazed if there was an issue with them paying their bills. They both seem like very nice people.
 
They are good people and I am sure they will pay everyone. It may take a bit but I am sure they are honourable people.
 
I've worked for them for a while now and I know they are good people, but why wouldn't they call me back? Why do I have to find out through this site that they are closing their doors and not from them?

Hopefully they contact me soon! They owe me a lot!

Guess if they are at 77 days past due with you and are closing the doors they probably have no intention of paying you or anybody else they owe. They have a ready made retirement fund now. I would be after their customers in a flash to collect or at least tie up any money owed to them. Just my 2 cents
 
I would go after their customers, but I can't... I provided a non-transportation related service for them so no BOL Act option :eek:

Spoke with Bill last week, told me he returned his units, trailers and laid off all the drivers. He said he was trying to sell the company, but doubt they are worth anything with the comments in this thread.
