We currently work with Starship and they are great to work with and pay in a respectable amount of time.

I have invoices over 90 days, they are now on our do not use list.
 
We did a few loads with them after my previous post. Kept them to COD only (which they weren't happy with) but they needed the work done. On the last load - they were invoiced by mistake when it should have been COD. Long story short...I left many many messages for Maria in A/P who never returns calls. The invoice was paid 40 days later when it should have been COD as per the agreement.

Will not be dealing with Starship again because of this circumstance. That was our 2nd "go around" with this company....
 
I remember when they where just a load broker and where great to deal with. I also remember the day they put trucks on the road, we quit dealing with them shortly after because you could see trouble brewing. I wonder if they curse the day they decided to buy trucks?
 
I'm sure that they do curse that day.
From what I know it didn't work out very well for them and cost them a lot of money.

That fancy blue paint job on truck and trailer alone would have cost them more than really needed...and is perhaps indicative of WHY it didn't work out for them. Maybe..maybe not..

Maria @ ap@starshiplogistics.com, many e mails sent
She only works Tues and Thurs, so she is hard to connect with

Promises a cheque in the next cheque run ... but never arrives.

Now on our DNU list.

Is this the fault of the owner or the a/p person ?

I am sure he would get this matter resolved and look into it for you.

Finally got my check from Toronto to Montreal , it took over 7 days. I am fully paid up and will not deal with them unless we are stuck.

Took slightly over 70 days.

Cannot stand lecturing on their part, when all we need is prompt payment!!!
 
Work with Mike and Janeen at Starship - get my payments 45-55 days from the day we invoice.

A/P told me that chq will be out Feb/11. Already over 60 days. Asked her for explanation why in Feb by email cause she does not come to answer the phone - but no reply. This morning I emailed and sent PM to Mikejr but no reply so far.

Mike - at least reply and give me some kind of info as to when I can get my chq. Will take action once it reaches 70 days. Don't blame me after - you still have a chance.
