They used to have a Charlie that worked there and did a good job. No longer there and seems like the wheels fell off.

1 load so far and never again. We were lied to, poor service, etc. Gave them a load that was supposed to deliver Friday. was told it delivered. Monday receiver called to say it still hadn't delivered. We were told 100% it delivered by carrier and that they would get us pod. well the truck just arrived now (it is Wednesday). No thank you.
We had one really well handled load, working with Jasman, but then we had a 2nd that was 24 hours of nightmare. First the reefer broke and she said don't worry, team is en route with a new reefer, pickup next morning but no affect on delivery because of the team. Next morning she says truck is there but shipper standing in the yard says no it's not. Fresh load with ticking clock and they have no idea where their truck is. No details from them the whole day, nobody answers the phone. We had to bring in another carrier last minute at huge additional cost. Speedrite truck shows up at shipper 9 hours late for the revised monrning appointment and thought they would still get loaded. Going to dock them for the additional cost on the next few loads and if they make even 1 mistake they're on the blacklist.

They seem to be a small carrier with limited office staff, so limitations and some frustrations in that regard compared to some of the larger players. But pickups and deliveries have been on track the last 2 weeks after the first problem shipment so I am continuing to work with them.

We have a policy not to use anyone with the name "speed, fast or star" in it. They all seem to have issues for some reason....not really but it's kind of true and an on going joke here.

They will screw up your loads, your business, your customers. Worst trucking company to deal with. They never answered the phone and ended up being 12 hours late for delivery. I advise any broker/carrier to never tender a load to them even if it's your last choice!
