Speed Force..... crappy service and ridiculous excuses.

We used these guys on a couple of shipments recently and their service is terrible. The lost a pod on one shipment and on a second they were five and a half hours late for a delivery. If you want a carrier that doesn't answer the phone when you are tracing a delivery....call Speed Force. If you enjoy looking for a pod a month after a delivery....call Speed Force. If you can live with a carrier delivering five and a half hours late.....call Speed Force. We get fined for his late delivery but Vinni wont accept responsibility. For $200 we got a valuable lesson from a company that doesn't care what time appointments are..........they will never get a load from us again.
 
Hey Gord, i had the same problem with them, they were three days late and gave shitty excuses. I docked them 500.00 and He called saying he would take us to court, I never heard from them again and i did not pay them the whole price.

My company doesn't allow us to deduct a penny without the carriers consent, so we can only block them and rant a little. Speed Force get use out of call display and will never pick up the phone if they are already late for a delivery.................Vinni is the problem, he knows very little about this business for an owner and his arguments are right out of the Numbskull handbook, constantly changing the subject like a six year old.
 
I rather deduct than rant about it.. you'll never get them to agree to it so if their service is that bad and you're not going to use them again just do it.
 
If you have verifiable evidence that your firm suffered a financial loss as a direct result of the carrier’s negligence, I say deduct it from their invoice.

You are right but for $200 we prefer to pay them so they can't say we didn't pay them properly, even the shipment where they lost the POD we will pay them when we get paid. Speed Force along with a lot of Brampton carriers just don't care about appointment deliveries so if you have a customer that needs their freight delivered on time...........i'd find someone else for the load.
