Has anyone had any dealings with them? They are out of Laval PQ, we just started using them and I have another carriers pars on a customs doc, weird thing is the other carrier does not have any record moving the freight. I'm curious to hear what experiences others have had. Thanks

I would suggest that maybe it may be time to find someone else, that is too scary for words. If they are using someone elses pars whose insurance do you have... But that is just my 1/2 cent worth....

Ok here is the story. The carrier that moved the freight AJIT Inc. is an independant operator working exclusively for this carrier, his name is very similar to a large company ATI dba AJIT express so that was who I originally contacted.
I am finding this all the time with Quebec carriers, they run independant operators who run under their own pars sometimes their own insurance/ sometimes not. I am close to a dozen carriers some quite large who have this set up, some even provided me with the contract. I obviously have a problem with this as I cannot tell if it is double brokered, I also don't know if they have insurance or what the safety rating is. The carriers tell me they have a Form 27 for Insurance etc. Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions?

Quit using Quebec carriers.........very simple.

I would drop them. It is too simple now a days to have independant people to do everything. One day, the company will be gone and you will have no recourse.
