run away as fast as you can (other threads on here somewhere) they double broker everything only have local trailer for pu/delivery

I was unable to find this using the search function on this site but I googled "SP freight brampton" and these forum links popped up.

If you type "S.P. Freight" (using the quotes) into the search function, several threads pop up.

Stay away from these guys. Don't know about their service, except what we did for them. I do know that you have to fight to get paid though. The accountant actually hung up on me because she did't like the way I spoke to her when I finally got to speak to her. 103 day from invoice to reception of check. Says 30 days on the rate confirmation.

Shawn, i don't have any service related experience with them. Only collections experience and there was a reminder.

And do not confuse them wit S&P Carriers out of Scotland. They have always done a good job for me.

It doesn't matter who you deal with they pass the phone around, leave you on hold. Whoever you ask for isn't there and will be back in 30 minutes.
Be careful with companies that run the Canadian west coast lanes. They will pick up a few skids from you (the customer) and make excuses until they find enough skids from someone else to make a FTL. I can't blame them but it certainly does happen.
