I was just involved in an email thread where a TQL agent sent out an RFQ for 11 dry van loads, Newmarket Ontario to Belton TX of plastic parts - 12000 lbs. Someone from Skyview Transportation quickly replied back, cc'ing all with their rate of 2400 USD and they can take all 11 loads. At today's fuel costs and diminished inbound pricing this number seems quite low. If they are planning on hauling it themselves - have at it boys.

I'm just putting it out there just in case they are going to re-broker, partner carrier or any other term they want to call it but double broker for more.

Beware.
