Bit of communication issues with this company. All went well with load until trailer had major hub/axle issue. Called numerous times for updates as well as emails, was good until Friday afternoon then nothing.......until late Saturday. Confirmed to them yesterday that load would deliver this morning at 6:30am - truck showed up at 8:15. No reason given and would only reply to email not answer the phone (was to originally deliver Thursday by 11pm). Understand breakdowns but communication was brutal.
Would not recommend using. Booked a load 3 days in advance, day of loading (fresh chicken load so never ready first thing) gave the load back at noon on a Friday because they weren't loaded yet and just said they would bring the truck back empty.
Similar experience with us as well. Booked a load 2 days in advance and then on the day of pickup they had a mechanical issue and told us that they'll bring the driver back empty instead of picking up the next day or so.
Moved load for them and delivered on time, POD clearly had time and date indicated. Consignee confirmed on time by email as well. Sky Blue claimed we were late and deducted $500 from payment. Anyone else had a similar issues?
