Be aware of these guys, they hold freight and paperwork hostage. Got a call from a reputable broker in the US to go and recover part of a load that these guys were supposed to do, the Customs broker made a screw up and Skates dumped the freight someplace in Michigan but refuse to hand over any paperwork or the location of the freight until being paid by wire transfer. ............... I really hate having to do the cleen up after meathead carriers like this!!!!

She was just down right ignorant, and it didn't bother her one bit that they were doing it.

They haven't changed one bit.

I have used Skates twice. Wilma is not the friendliest of dispatchers but has gotten the small LTL done both times...No issues.
