Setting up a private network on Loadlink

Hi All,

We are currently setting up a private network on load link of our preferred carriers. We have been on this site for about 4 years now and find it extremely valuable. Not only to gather industry information and reduce our risks of hiring bad carriers, most of the members seem to have the type of business acumen that match our vendor requirements.

That being said, as some of the members are going by pseudo names, I am not really sure if we are benefitting from your services. I would like to set up a private network on the link consisting of inside transport member carriers. I was thinking of perhaps posting a shared link where you can enter your name, contact info and service capabilities.

Just want to get feedback on the best way to approach this. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Good post...and good idea. Similar requests have been brought up by members - wanting to do the same thing. Get in touch & communicate further with only the GOOD members...and avoiding the BAD. Trouble is...many members on Inside prefer to use their alias and not reveal which company they are from. They use this site for business reference...and majority don't post or contribute anything either (which is unfortunate) for the rest of us. This will be changing in the near future....

While many members here are "active" and their posts reflect someone well versed in transport - often times the companies we are reporting/alerting everyone to stay away from...are also on this board. They keep to the background and monitor...but they are here. I would hate for you to get involved with someone you would never enter a business relationship with - based on their false representation.

If you don't mind the details of your company being noted - I suggest creating a new post. Let members know what you are looking for (service needs) & what would entail being on your preferred carrier list. Ask members to send you a PM and build your database from there. Your request has been approached by past members in this same manner before - I'm sure you'll get quite a few messages back. Then you have the opportunity to call these people AND verify they are WHO they say they are from this board.
