Thanks Honeybear.... I spoke to Patti/Paddy accounts supervisor & she advised that they have changed payment terms due to cash flow problems........ go figure!

Finally got paid from them ...WOOOHOOO!!!...Patty the account manager..hahahahha she signs the cheques...GO FIGURE after all the stories you get!!!!!
 
any new information on this company? they owe us from November and I keep getting the run around.
 
I would suggest that you tell them you are going to call their customer and do the Bill of Lading Act.

It works for me.
 
They owe me too for a load done in early December. Have a little time on my hands so am putting the screws to them today... I have as usual informed them of my pending calls to their customer and anyone else listed on the paperwork, and am ready to make these calls today.
 
I was able to get a cell phone number for their controller John Flynn. I called and spoke to him but he didn't really seem bothered by the prospect of me calling his customer. That to me is an indication that there is no money or no interest in paying.
 
Well, I understand why he doesn't care if I contact the consignee, because they are not his customer... It appears as though Seneca Logistics got this load from CCEI and then double brokered it to me. CCEI got it from the original customer, who I have now spoken with.
 
Is CCEI still in business? They owe us some money but I can't reached anybody... Left messages, sent emails, waited on the line for dispatch but nobody ever picks up the phone.... Can anyone advise!
 
I have seen at least one very nice looking truck with CCEI on the side in the last week. They use to be located in Pickering if you give me the address I will try and drive by in the next day or 2.

I have 2 addresses... The one on their website is:

But their billing address (also the registered address on FMCSA is a house (and it is for sale for $1.2M):
1761 Altona Road, Pickering, ON
 
Going on 4 months with this one, still no end in sight... unless I am to believe them this time that they really will get a cheque out this Friday... really... haahahaa...

While digging, I also found out that they do not have a valid broker's authority. They are listed on Safer with an operating status of "NOT AUTHORIZED"... Things are looking better everyday over at Seneca...
 
Any chance CCEI will skip Seneca and pay you for work performed? Likely you've already thought/tried this route.

I just hate to see kind of thing (it's a large reason for my membership and support for this site - avoiding double/triple brokering without discussion/consent). Someone always gets screwed.
