just got off the phone with Lorne ( wouldn't give me his last name....kept telling me to look it up ) about a load one of his employees brokered to us out of ESTEVAN SK to Monahans TX.... told us he would pay us to run empty from Winnipeg MB to Estevan , and even promised to pay a 300.00 layover to hold the truck for an extra day as ROBERT Fynn his employee promised us....
turns out we arrived on a Friday to load as asked, and Robert had given everyone wrong dimensions, by a foot in height, a foot in width and 3 feet in length, so we couldn't take it with the equipment we were asked to load with.....so after waiting for 3 days to load and it being a Friday we had to drive back to Winnipeg empty......
I wanted TONU ,mileage and the layovers as promised.... Robert at Scout Lowballed us and said 500.00, we said not a chance, we wanted 2.00/per mile to and from plus the layovers and a TONU..... but they are shrugging us and the other carriers they screwed over too.... I WOULD NEVER EVER deal with this jerk or his company again. Lorne is classless and hung up on me telling him I was going to be needing all of it.... Carriers beware of taking loads from this class act!
