Hello peeps

If a document comes across your desk from what appears to be Yellow pages or yellow pages Ontario or anything yellow pages. THROW IT OUT OR CALL YOUR LOCAL YELLOW PAGES TO CONFIRM IT.

Their is now several companies out there that look smiliar to yellow pages but they are scammers. They will fax you a sheet asking you to provide search engines name that would desciribe your business to best market your services blah blah. The tiny fine print binds you to a contract for 1 or 2 years. Anywhere from $1000 to $2500.

It seems this is perfectly legal for them to do this even though they have no website or any other means of advertising for your company. THEY ARE CLEARLY BANKING ON YOU NOT READING THE FINE PRINT AND ONCE YOU SIGN YOU WILL RECEIVE AN INVOICE. CREDITORS WILL HOUND YOU TO DEATH TO GET THE MONIES AND LEAVE A BLACK MARK
ON YOUR CREDIT.

SEE: AGAINST YELLOW PAGES MARKETING BV OR JUST TYPE IN YELLOWPAGES-ONTARIO.COM.

I WOULD ADD THE LINK IF I KNEW HOW.

SPREAD THE WORD.

This scam has been around as long as the Photocopier and Fluorescent light scams.

It pays to read anything like this very carefully.

Look for the Yellow Pages logo. If it is upside down (fingers pointing up) or not there at all, you have a piece of scrap paper.
