Any feedback on Qualcomm vs Peoplenet?
Also has anyone used the brand new Peoplenet Display 4 just released?
Thanks

We have been a long time Peoplenet user, we just started installing the new display and are waiting for the scanners to arrive for in cab scanning. If everything works they way it is suppose to the signed POD will go directly into our scanning system and attach itself to the Order and allow billing same day. Also our drivers will be able to scan their ACE/ACI Doc's to us or it should bounce to our outside after hours service, with that being said it is not up and running so fingers crossed that it works the way it is suppose to.

We have used Qualcomm (Shaw Tracking) in the past, and have pretty much committed to going with Peoplenet when EOBR/ELDs get mandated. Feedback I have received does not lend itself to a purchase of Qualcomm, and Peoplenet's cost is less.
However, in the meantime we are using Macropoint Tracking. It is cell phone based, and Android phones work best. You would do well to take a close look at this technology. It's great for carriers, and it's downright awesome for load brokers.
Ususally I'm not big on promoting someone else's product, but I'm making an exception this time. Noodle over to their website at www.macropoint.com and if you're interested in their solution, give them a call and ask for Evelyn. You can tell her you got the tip from me if you like.
