Booked a load for a B-Train flatbed from Quebec City, PQ and drops in Mississagua, ON, Vancouver, BC and Victoria, BC (1 pick - 3 drops). Load was picked up as scheduled on Friday June 17th and drops were to be Miss on Monday, June 20th, Vancouver on Friday, June 24th & Victoria on Monday, June 27th.
After tons of lies and bull s**t, we found that they transferred the Miss material on another truck and only delivered on Tuesday, June 21st. Morning calls placed from our office on follow up, the truck was in North Bay, ON at 8:40 on June 22nd and Calgary on the 24th and Vancouver on the 27th, truck broke down in Kamloops, blah, blah blah... It was all lies...
Finally got a hold of the driver of the truck on June 28th and he didn't have a B-Train as specified but a 53' tri axle stepdeck. He only left Montreal on Friday, June 24th because Eric had him pick up an over-sized piece going to Kamloops, BC. When he got to the Golden, BC scale, he was over weight and had to drop off 2 of our skids that were supposed to be in Vancouver on the 24th.
He was in Hope, BC and would call when unloaded. Called driver at 3 pm and told him I was tired of the BS and to tell me the truth for once. He was told by Eric to go deliver Victoria and then load up another partial from Vancouver to drop off in Kamloops and then pick up my 2 skids in Golden and drop them off.
All in all, an F N nightmare. Had to hire a truck with a team to run from Calgary to Golden to pick up my 2 skids and be in Vancouver for 1st am. Thanks to Danny at Summit Coastal, that was accomplished.
