There is a distinct difference between posting under the "REFERENCE" header and the "PAYMENT TERMS/CREDIT HISTORY" one.
Many of you are inquiring as to payment/credit terms on a customer - and posting it under "REFERENCE" - this is incorrect. I move many of these posts to the correct header on a daily basis.
If you are looking for payment/credit information - please post it under the proper category. It also makes things easier later when members are doing a search - looking for credit history - and "PAYMENT TERMS/CREDIT" comes up immediately. If information was posted under "REFERENCE" - the user would need to read thru many posts to find credit info they were originally looking for.
So going forward - please post under the appropriate header. And it always helps to detail your inquiry - use the company name, city and phone number. This helps us to look in our own accounting databases to assist with your reply - and offer the best accurate information.
If you are simply looking for information on a company such as location - owner name - contact numbers/email - "the low down" - then post this under "REFERENCE". As this type of information is a more general "non specific" request.
