FRAUD ALERT – BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY-PR LOGISTICS

This carrier has been involved in fraudulent activity. They will accept your freight, then demand payment upfront under threats. After receiving the money, they attempt to sell or divert the freight outside instead of delivering it to the contracted destination.

Multiple incidents indicate a pattern of load hijacking and extortion‑style behaviour.

Please exercise extreme caution. Do NOT tender freight to this company. Protect your freight, your customers, and your business.

Ummm....a very quick check on SAFER would tell you that both the MC and the USDOT numbers are not active. Thats your very first indicator - if they applied for US authorities but were not successful they are not serious about the trucking business.

But, if you're only shipping Canada stuff you can look for their CVOR - currently active. Did you get any IFTA documents to ensure they can work outside of Ontario?

Their insurance is posted on MOTUS - facility insurance - another indicator that you're playing with fire, but you would have seen this when getting the COI. Do they have cargo insurance?

Their insurance history shows that their first policy was Mar 2026 so this company is 3 months old.

Finally, a reverse number lookup for the number above and the number in the MOTUS profile gets you nothing, 19 Silo Court in Brampton is residential, there is no email address or domain to speak of, and I have not been able to find a website.

What smidge of information pointed you to think this was a good company to try?

You’re absolutely right — we made a mistake on this one. We were stuck last minute with a freight that needed to move and didn’t verify the carrier’s information properly. That’s on us.

We’ve already reviewed all the red flags you pointed out, and we agree with your assessment. Going forward, we’re tightening our vetting process to ensure this doesn’t happen again — especially around SAFER status, IFTA, insurance type, and proper business verification.
