Has anybody gave them a load recently?
First and last time I deal with those idiots!
Situation : Full load, from ON to TX. 1543 miles.
Pickup tuesday at 10pm. Del thursday. Team service requiered. Easily done with a team. All good to go. Notes all over the confirmation. Pickup done at 10pm. Driver was there until 3am. YES we paid the waiting time.
Wednesday all day : no problem no problem
Thursday morning : Drivers will be there at 1-2PM TX time ( and he kept saying driver...so I had a bad feeling about this... )
Thursday PM at 4h30pm : driver is 150 miles from there. Told me he called the consignee, they will wait for him as they are opened 24/7 ( which of course is not right! ) My co-worker called to get an update late thursday. Waited on the line for 15 min on hold....and when they finally came back to him, hanged up! No answers after that.
This morning : Kash kept telling me the driver is there. Which of course is not true as I called the consignee to verify! Called back. Kash told me to hold....waited for 15 min....called back on the other line and spoke with someone else who told me Kash was out of the office. He put me on hold and the line cut after 10 more minutes. Called back, no answers...called back from my cell phone and he put me on hold once again.....had to hang up after 10 min. FINALLY got delivered this morning at 10am. One driver only ( told my consignee his partner left around OH area...which seems a lot of bull to me )
Then, 10 MIN later, Kash called to ask me to call the consignee so they can unload the driver ASAP...MEN!!
So, please be careful with them!! Obviously on our DNU list !!!!

Anyone else have anything good or bad on these guys recently? Thanks in advance.
 
I believe there were 2 partners when the company was called Power Trucking but they split up over a weekend. They had a load on for me that was supposedly already delivered but they actually dumped it in a warehouse and I ended up paying storage charges. But they did come to the table (with some pressure). I think Kashmir is on his own now and the company is called New Power Trucking. Never had a problem with them before that though.

Picked up and delivered on time...early even....communication was great and no issues. FYI.

So... We just got a call this morning from these guys after we start up Link... They are looking at our regular truck (equipment) posting to a point in the U.S. - telling me we just posted a load that he wanted to move.
We politely corrected him by saying he had his truck posted as a load and not a truck on Link which is why he seemed to think we had a load available. He then proceeds to sternly tell us we need to learn how to use load Link and correct our posting and to stop wasting his time. Then hung up... really... and these guys are moving freight...??

I had a VERY similar situation with Power Trucking and then he backdated his invoice and tried backdooring me to boot!
 
I spoke to an EX-member of New Power today and was advised that they did not get paid for a month and half. This person did a lot of the dispatching....I would watch giving them freight.

Financial side - interesting update (edited in) - This could explain their cashflow problems. It's been 3 weeks since delivery and we've not received and invoice or POD...

On the service side - Nick was great enough to call us with updates instead of us having to call and trace. It's appreciated on this end... I understand he is still there.

Anybody with updated information? Doesn't seem like Kash is there anymore. Your feedback is appreciated
 
New Power - Dealing with Nick - picks up and delivers on time (last shipment 9-12-11). PARS matches and I see they are sending invoices and POD's over in a timely manner. Looks like they have sorted out their 'house'.

Power - Not working with (largely due to service faliures and feedback from other members).

Of course these are two different companies - didn't know which one you were asking about as the thread name is still both...
