We managed to get a hold of their consignee, and received a check from consignee, after threatened them with court action.

Yep, sounds like the Pineridge I know... They have been this way for some time now. Last dealt with them in April of 2009, had to make threats in order to get paid.

Pineridge must be on life support their voicemail is full and no-one answers when we call. Does anyone know how to get in touch with the owner? Or their biggest customer? We were promised cheques, sent Fed-ex and thier door was locked.

I do know they used to do some work for a company in Cobourg called Strapex - I think those loads came out of Kentucky.

I spoke with one of their customers in Coburg, they haven't used them since March and have received 6-7 phone calls from carriers who have not been paid. And of course Chris doesn't answer the phone or email.
