These guys are a piece of work - we sold them a load from the US to Western Canada and they double borkered to another carrier. We found out by chance that they double brokered before it delivered and contacted the actual carrier and made arrangements to pay them directly.

But we didn't tell Peki that we knew and the carrier did not tell them either, we asked for a copy of the Custom doc's and they actually did a great forgery. They kept the pars number but changed the carriers name to theirs on the pars sticker. So we are going to find out exactly how Canada Customs feels about them altering official documents.

The delivering carrier should have a copy of the original custom's docs. See if you can get a hold of them and submit to CBSA.

Oh I've got everything and have already been talking to them so we will see what happens.

The website is kind of amusing and that is one of the worst names ever for a company. They say they "will always endeavor to give you competitive rates available either by sea or air." Oh crap...if it's moving by truck, you're not getting a deal lol. Also, it's really amusing that for a company based in Montreal, their website is in English only.

PEKI INC

Address is an small office building. I recognize the neighbourhood from staying at Concordia a few blocks away.

Well Canada Customs looked at all the paperwork and they where shocked that this has happened but also there is nothing they can do because the load cleared by a reputable carrier. So beware of Peki they double brokered this load with no intentions of paying the carrier that hauled the load.

Monkland Avenue is about 8 blocks long with restaurants, supermarket and some low rise apartment buildings. No tractor trailer could ever get in that area, let alone be a hub for a trucking company. We will keep an eye out for these jokers

Thanks for the heads up.

Do not use these people. We gave them a load and they gave it to another carrier (without our knowledge) and agreed to pay them significantly more then we agreed to pay them. They have not paid the carrier, and we suspect they never intended to.

Please do not use this company.

Does anyone know who the owner of PEKI is? or a contact number where they can be reached, as the numbers they gave us are now out of service.

Thank you in advance, for your help.
