Pace Marathon

I only ask because I recently heard that they were having some financial issues. I didn't think much of it until I was speaking with another Freight Broker who indicated that Pace Marathon has been contacting customers directly for payment of freight bills within a week or two of making the delivery.
 
I don't think that any transportation company is thriving these days (broker or carrier). Pace has always done a good job for me and if there is ever an issue with delivery schedules they do make the effort to advise.

If it's true (and it's only hear say at this point) that they are contacting customers direct before the freight bills are even due... that's not a good thing.

It doesn't sound like the Pace Marathon that I've dealt with for the past 15 years or so. George has always conducted things very proffesional.
 
One of the most amazing companies out there. Perhaps in the future, if in doubt ask the carrier their side of the story...remember that there are always 3 sides....

I would like to thank the users that quickly came to my defense, there is no financial problems with Pace Marathon, if there were I'm sure it would be posted else where on this site where it belongs. Feel free to call me if you have any concerns about this posting. 905 796 8200 ext 32
