Richard Meyers the head con artist that has been ripping people off for years.

Their CVOR is suspended. They bounce your cheques. They will use every excuse not to pay you. They will undercut anybody's rate. So they will always have freight - you just won't get paid.

They change banks every few months, now they put a stop payment on your cheque instead of letting it bounce.
They run adds on kijiji and any free job posting site all year long.

There are a few people that went to court besides me and the judges are getting to know Richard. He is getting a reputation - the judges know what he is doing - so they will hammer him.

OTR is playing the numbers game. Take 25 or 30% off the top then keep another 30% and even if 3 out of 10 go to court and make him pay - he still comes out ahead.

As long as we let this guy get away with it - he will keep doing it. So if OTR still owes you - I can refer you to a company that will help you get your money.

Richard - you should get out of trucking - cause some day you'll screw the wrong guy.

I doubt this is a surprise to anyone. OTD aka OTR is right up there with BREST with being on the most DNU lists. The lies, consistent terrible service and the lack of any customer service is well known to this company. It's not just the staff the owner Richard really does not give a $&@? how he or the staff treat customers.

They tried to tell us on a shipment that the driver was at pick up loading and it was picking up on our own dock and we were calling because the driver wasn't there. Nothing will change with that carrier.

Also on our DNU list. Was 3 days late delivering and had the balls to yell at me because I was questioning why it was so late.

otrtrucker everything that you have in your post is pretty much been my experience with this very unprofessional company. Richard Meyers is most definitily a gambling man. I have been chasing my money for over a year, and I would like the name of this company that can help me get my money. I am in the process of suing him, I hope my judge knows his record, everything that comes out of his mouth is bull crap.

Good idea to place this company on your DNU list, they have very poor business pratices and of course this makes you look bad, if they our 3 days late and they are yelling at you.

They have 2 companys, "On the Double Courier" local deliveries in Ontario and the GTA and "Over the Road Transportation Inc" cross border deliveries, and yes also a good idea to place on your DNU list.

That is no surprise, they lie through their teeth, not just the owner, yes the staff also, and no concern for customer service, it is amazing that they are still around.
