Like the other guys here, it has been a while since I have dealt with them. Last was in mid-2008, but my experience was not so trouble free...
After leaving three unreturned messages for payment status, I started to hound them and finally got to speak to Mike and he of course said the cheque was mailed a week and a half ago. After another week and a half went by (now 3 weeks after he reportedly mailed chq) I called and got general voicemail, never a good sign when calling to collect bills. I left them a message stating I would be contacting the shipper, receiver, and their customer regarding non-payment of the freight bill.
I was contacted the next day and given the same "cheque's in the mail" story. I was able to force him into stopping payment on the fictitious cheque that never arrived, and I had to send someone to his residence where he had the cheque taped to his mailbox.
Pretty weird experience. Maybe things have changed, maybe not. I will never know because I won't bother with them.
