Hi All,

Our friends at Baxter Bailey are collecting on Northwind Xpress Ltd. double-brokered loads. TPine, their factoring company, is no longer assigned to their receivables. No cooperation (ignored calls and e-mails) from Northwind.

Yes, I heard all about this.. Northwind Express double brokered everything that didn't go on their (one?) truck.. Factored it all through T-Pine who sent out POD's and invoices. Northwind Express scammed T-Pine pretty good.. And everyone else too.
FMCSA shows Northwind as still active...
My two cents...
If you owe T-Pine any money then send them a refund/credit invoice showing you paying yourself back the full amount and that might get their attention. And you can negotiate with Adam, his plate is full with a lot of this garbage, and the quicker the outcome, the better for whoever he is representing.. Then T-Pine might fight later but they don't have a leg to stand on.. Since they send fake documents to get paid by honest brokers..

Thank you for your reply and sorry for the late update! I have worked with Adam in the past. I understand he has a job to do and he has always been good/as fair as he can be. Settled with him.

Will let you know how it goes with T-Pine. They are being a little less understanding, but I'm pretty good with the small courts, if I need to take that route.
