North Owl Logistic - Emailing Malware

Good Evening everyone, just thought I should make this post so hopefully people that are less tech savvy then I don't get caught in this scam.

I have been emailed a couple times by dispatch@northowllogistic.ca for posted loads on the link but we have never even got to the set up stage, I believe this was recon.

I just got an email from Kim Elias at North Owl Logistic with the email address of dispatch@northowllogistic.ca, same as a couple times before so it doesn't seem out of nowhere but this time they send me an email with an attachment "Audio from northownlogistic.ics" with the subject line "Reminder to listen and Revert"

Body of this email is
"Hello,

I left a voice message for your review."


This is a phishing scam and if you open the file it will download another file and infect your system, they will then either hold your system for ransom or steam all your dox and authorities and start running scams.

Be safe out there people and don't open files you are not expecting.

I have been messaging back and forth with them and I can't get proper answers.
Asked for pictures of their "5" trucks and they say they only have one picture of one truck
Red Flag already..
I asked for the insurance company to send me the COI directly with the 5 vins listed..
I asked if they have GPS on all 5 trucks, they said yes, so I asked for the GPS links to each truck as Proof of life.
1 inspection in 8 months? Probably only had one truck but double brokers the rest.

Anyway, I was Ghosted.
They are Shady..
Probably a scammer.
