NOLAN TRANSPORT - NTA TRANSPORT INC.

December 31 inoivce, still looking for payment. They keep saying they have mailed it cheque.

FYI in case you want to use them. You wont get paid anywhere near your terms.
 
Don't know what is going on with them. We have done business with them for many years and never had a problem. Then we did a little ltl for them and it took over 4 months to get paid. Hope they can get through what ever is going on because they were always good to work for but it is no longer worth the risk. Use with caution:(
 
Well, everyone that used to run the place is gone. Things got sour internally and everyone, who knew their stuff, left, or were let go.
A pity, it was a very good outfit.

Yes, that is them. I found even when the "good ole guys were there" the payment was painfully slow. It's pretty risky to take a load from them.
 
They were sold a couple of years ago, I believe. There was a rumour going around that if they weren't sold they were done. But obviously the new owners are struggling with it too.
 
Same here.... I have invoice 124 days...
They keep saying next friday... next friday...
and their number 905-799-8558 is not working since last week.
 
Nolan Transport of Brampton have figured out how to avoid paying bills and receiving phone calls, they have their phone number posted as 905-799-8558 but when they want to sell a load they post a cell number and carriers call on the cell

They can help you, all you have to do is give them credit and do some loads and wait for them to pay you..........and wait a little longer..........and wait some more................then you wait a little longer, then they don't answer their phones. But go ahead and deal with Nolan....nice people. Sure they will help you.............

And when you call on their cellphone, you hear " This cellphone doesn't set up to receive calls "...Dahh...
 
Depending on what board people post - putting cell #'s in the comments section is frowned upon. Please take a screen shot and send to the loadboard as an official complaint. I would if I was you (or if I was a carrier that could see the postings).

They might have moved out of Brampton - went by the old Associated Brands building on Bethridge just west of Martingrove in Etobicoke on the weekend and noticed about 10+ Nolan trucks and trailers there.
 
Nolan is answering their phones - 905-799-8558. Jolene is accounts payable and is in the office today.

Just an FYI - sounds like business as usual over there. If you are owed and not getting anywhere - call the owner or show up on Auction Lane - off Goreway I believe - and pay them a visit.

Especially if you are into 100+ days overdue and getting nowhere - you're beyond "phone calls" at that point.
