Niko Trans - 3055 Weston Road - Toronto - 416-697-1752

Pam - Owner & A/P

One invoice with this company - over 90 days - constant run around and Pam never returns calls or is in the office. Told was today to go ahead and "try" to collect from their customer. Called that number - goes straight to Niko Trans - companies affiliated - Petwell - 50 Akron Road - Etobicoke - 416-697-1752.

Calling Link and reporting - just horrible people to deal with. Give them any loads and you can kiss your money goodbye.
 
Anyone else CURRENTLY dealing with Niko - having payment issues. Looking for an update on my original posting. Our receivable still unpaid - no reason - no communication.

Reported to Link - waiting on another negative comment - would be appreciated.
 
Having other issues with Niko trans. They use owner operators and when there is a claim - state they are not responsible and to go after the driver's insurance company. No mention or insurance provided for the owner operator at time of booking.

Had issues catching PAM as well.

niko and jay dee ent affiliated ???

I am not 100 % sure, but there is a possibility Jay Dee enterprises could be the same as Niko trans. Dispatch sounds the same and their insurance shows 1 yr expiry of Jan 2011, about 1 yr after they went under...

I believe that some of the top people in PETWELL have bought the equipment and started manufacturing again.
If the owners of NIKO were affiliated, their new start up can be as well.
Look out if you are going to be hauling Kitty litter!!!

Interested in Petwell

Hi,

Niko wasn't affiliated with Petwell as far as ownership is concerned. I know firsthand -- we dealt with Petwell and got stiffed too. The only relationship was that the shipping mgr at Petwell used to drive for Niko.

I did hear about one of the big shots at Petwell buying the equipment and re-opening, but haven't been able to confirm anything ... all I know is I heard it's in Scarborough or something.
 
Has anyone found Niko (Jay Dee now) owned by Pam Dexter?
Please be ware that if you book this company for a load it is likely that it will go missing. FRAUD ALERT!!!!!
