Nexzen Transport - Mississauga, ON 905-488-1124 - Bill Mann (Owner)

Looking for payment trends on the above noted company - is anyone currently dealing with them? No D&B history and supposedly in business for 4 years.

Please advise ASAP - any information appreciated.
 
I have to admit to a feeling of ambiguity here...are they are carrier or a broker? They have sent us their carrier package, hoping to solicit some truck freight and yet they are looking to you to provide transportation service for them? I understand that the lines between a carrier and a broker are becoming more and more blurred but when someone starts out with this business model - I feel some trepidation.

Just as an FYI - Ed and Stan from Galaxy have joined them as well. I have dealt with both of them in the past with generally good results and hope for the best for both of them.

Nexzen is Bill from Galaxy. He split off a couple months from them and went on his own.... great guy to work with and I wouldn't anticipate any issues with them. they have only been around a few months operating as Nexzen, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were running trucks at Galaxy under the Nexzen authorities for the past few yrs which could explain why they are saying they have been operating for 4 yrs.

Does anyone know how to reach Bill Mann? I read in one of the other threads that Nexzen 'filed', but it doesn't mean I can't seek compensation directly from the 'Mann'.

He has filed Bankruptcy too himself.

When you know his next company name, please let us know so we don't get burned again (thankfully a small amount).

same here, not a large amount, but there certainly is in the paperwork .. about 455K
 
FYI, I saw Bill Mann when I was at the bank the other day. He said he's trying to regroup and trying to pay everyone off. If that's helps anyone.
 
My load was from May, it's paid (now twice, once to Bill and once to the hauling carrier). The good news is that the carrier was willing to sign an agreement that states if they receive monies from Nexzen or affiliate it will be forwarded to us.

I'm not holding my breath.
