Does anyone have any current info on how to get a hold of these guys? I heard that the company was sold but now the phone just rings and rings. I do know where William Masters is hiding ( the former owner and he better find a new spot) but I just want to make sure that I have given fair notice before I start further actions. I can't believe that the dispatcher had the balls to call from his new place of employment and ask me to take a load when he knows that he screwed me out of $2400 bucks. I have a pretty good suspicion that the new company is just a continuation of MTB under a new name. I won't say the name just in case I am wrong, but when I find out for sure EVERYBODY will know and they will never broker another piece of freight.

Heads Up

Don't take any freight from the address of 4240 Harvester Rd in Burlington and William is also the owner of Top Shelf Storage at the same address.
He has lots of his customers freight there.....

He is also on the board of directors for Dumfries Mutual insurance, I suggest that if William Masters owes you Money that you call them and strongly suggest that they remove him from the board of directors. Also lets keep working to track him down...he's taking down a lot of good people

Thanks to everyone for your input, I will keep you posted on my chase and keep everyone informed. I have made an offer to him to recover some of the money he owes me and we'll see what happens. I hate to cut anyone like this slack but at this point in time something is better than nothing. Either way, everyone will soon know what a low life he is.

WARNING

William Masters and MTB have now just opened up a new company. It is called Nero Transport from Burlingtion.

STAY AWAY from this company as well as this man if you like your money.

I would suggest you do your homework and do some research into this company BEFORE you make post's like this. William Masters is not the owner of Niro Transport in Burlington. MTB is not affiliated in any way. Niro does operate out of an office that was once used by MTB, but that is the extent of it.

William Masters is available by calling 905-333-0844 whoever answers the phone answers it as Nero Transport. I spoke to him a few moments ago and he claims that he a) "sold" MTB in Good faith, and b)referred me to his attorney.

Can we get a quick chime in from everyone on here who is burnt by this guy so we can talk about a potential court of action. It seems to me that he believes that he has sufficient money for legal fees to defeat any single challenge......
perhaps combining is best

Marc Kastenberg at Ogilvy Renault is purportedly his attorney

Just a question. If William Masters is not involved with Niro, why does he have their link on his facebook page? Inquiring minds want to know.

Does anyone else see this as a "shell game"?

What are they listing themselves as on the link so I can block them - does anyone know?

Thanks

Law firm

It looks like this fellow put some money away or he would not be working with Ogilvie Renault!!!

Also of interest may be the conditions of his bankrupcy, he may not be allowed to enter this form of business for the next few years.
Also , a criminal search may be in order , there may be other issues that the fellow was charged with relating to this industry that could help your cases.

Mtb

I was able to contact Dave (dispatcher) at 905-333-8552. MTB was sold to Niro Transport. I got paid.

I talked to Mr Masters a few weeks ago, he told me that he sold the company and gave me the number of one of the new owners. That guy told me he needed a few days to "sort things out". I would think things would be sorted out before you purchase a company with this kind of reputation. SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT WHEN GUYS LIKE THIS CAN SCREW HARD WORKING PEOPLE AND THEN CARRY ON LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED. Looks like I should contact his lawyer too.

Has anyone had any luck at getting their money from this dead beat? He seems to have lots of it as I stand here looking at his grey mercedes.
