1. Pick up 2 containers, each weighing 53,000 lbs, hazardous materials, class 8, off load from container and truck up to Edmonton, AB? Is this even possible? Not my area of expertise. Thanks

Maggs, have you considered an intermodal option? TransX could probably do it or even CN Intermodal for that matter. CN's intermodal prices look good. For some reason, you seem to get a better deal on Monday or Sunday ($2,155 vs $2,597) than you do for the other days of the week and the price only goes to 40'...and I know I've seen 53's on their container chassis before. CN allows up to a maximum of 65,000 lbs for a trailer or intermodal container bigger than 40', so your weight is okay for them. I can't find a domestic dangerous materials fee. You may want to contact TransX and Vitran, or even Western Canada Express.
