We're currently using Fleet Manager at our firm and it has be very helpful but I feel it is lacking in a lot of areas. I would love to be able to drag and drop 4 calls on my drivers profile and it appears on his cell phone in order of efficiency taking in to account freight availability times. Instant notification as he arrives and departs. This software could also suggest the best driver to pick up based on location. This is basic technology that exists on our smart phones right now. Is there such a program that is out there. Also this software would be available on desktop for work and a mobile app so I can leave my desk for more then 4 minutes.

You're asking an awful lot of a desktop system. What you need is a server/database based system. I'm a big fan of TMW Systems TruckMate program. It has served me very well. They also have other offerings that may fit what you are looking for. Check out their website.
