I received the following from the TIA:

Missing Driver

Incident Description
On 5/23/13, a driver was reported missing. The driver picked the load up on Monday in Wayne, Nebraska and was supposed to deliver the product to Laredo, TX this morning. No one has been able to establish contact with the driver since Monday, not even the driver's family. There is no tracking equipment on the truck or trailer.

The load is rescheduled to be delivered on Friday and the carrier is hoping to hear from him by tomorrow morning. If they do not, they will report him missing to police.

My concern is of course Kenneth, not the pillows...

Never know if one of your drivers passes a parked truck (this one) and can help locate this missing driver...

Keep well,

Mike

Driver and load are missing and the carrier hasn't notified anyone??? I'd be on the phone right away, if I couldn't make contact and the driver hasn't checked in.

The load is rescheduled to be delivered on Friday and the carrier is hoping to hear from him by tomorrow morning. If they do not, they will report him missing to police.

It would be nice toget an update, but the carrier is relying too much on the internet. First call should have been to the highway patrol.

Facebook has a group Missing Truck Driver Alert Network, they are a great reference to spread the word after the police/family are notified
