My google search brings up a couple of red flags. I have not worked with this company but...

....looks like they are working out of a residence in Edmonton.
... been in business since July 2024.
...typos on their webpage
... and,
As a sister company to Sandhu Cargo Transport LLC, founded in 2007 in The United Arab Emirates, we leverage our combined expertise to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Hello,

Our office is located at 6912 68 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6B 3C5, where we’ve been operating for almost a year now. The residential address you saw was our initial billing address when we first started out. Our current office address is also displayed on Google.

To answer your question on payment terms, we operate on Net 30 days.

I worked with Matrix, many loads before.. Payment is good 30-35 days,

But they put pressure on you when you do a load for them.. They follow up too much

But over all they're good :)

Sound like a new business to me. What is the issue with the sister company in the UAE?

:) the point I was trying to make was - having a sister company in the UAE isn't a redflag in my books. Opposite of a red flag if the business in the UAE checks out and has been operating for nearly 20 years!
is the entire thing out of the UAE? If so chasing your money would be all but impossible. Enough home grown companies we have to chase etc without now having to deal with overseas brokers no thanks.

Hi Rob, I get your concern. Just to clarify, we’re a Canadian based company with our main office in Edmonton, AB, and all payments are made in CAD. The UAE side is simply an additional part of our operations, not where transactions are handled from. We’re fully accountable here in Canada and operate like any other local company.

Matrix_car,

Are you primarily operating your Edmonton AB office as a carrier operation, or a brokerage operation?

Looks like you have 7 trucks for cross border shipments, correct?

How many staff do you employ for your carrier operation in Edmonton AB and how many staff do you have in your brokerage operation in Edmonton AB? I want to point out that intermingling the two businesses under one MC can prove challenging to your clients. How is a broker to know that when tendering shipments to your carrier side, that the brokage side wouldn't have access to load confirmations, BOL's, and other sensitive data that your customer (a broker) would consider confidential between them and your carrier operation?

Just trying to understand your business model, if that's ok with you.

Mike
