Maple Global Transport

Can anyone confirm this is a different company from:

Maple Global Freight Solutions
7505 Kimbel Street
Mississauga, ON
M/C # 974775

They appear to be completely different companies but appearances can be deceiving......

No expert but they appear to be very different companies. I feel like the one this thread was started about just took a similar name to be sketchy shit heads. Just my $0.02 though.

How is it, if carrier out of service Load Link still allows them online and posts loads and trucks

I'll give you two hints. One rhymes with "money" and the other one rhymes with "Loadlink doesn't give a fuck, if you give them money."

I agree but carriers/ brokers keep saying about a membership with loadklink. Some i even here "if not a "member" of LoadLink i can use you". Is it not a subscription, or are they in control of a industry?

LL does not have the capacity or the authority to police the entire industry. For heavens sake, our government doesn't have the capacity to police the entire industry. Those road blitzes that take 50% of trucks off the road, if they were enforcing properly, the blitzes would take 0% of trucks off the road.

What LL does do is this: at the time of sign up for services, they verify you are a carrier/broker in good standing, with insurance, etc. What you do after you get your account or if you sell your business to another party they simply don't have the ability to monitor. I'm still confused why anyone thinks a for profit business could/should police the industry, although I agree it would be great if someone could put all the bad actors out of business. Seems more and more of them are closing up shop lately, I like it!

Keep well,
Mike

Exactly Mike Jr. There seem to be some folks who believe that LoadLink should somehow be doing their due diligence for them, or that being a subscriber to LL makes you an honourable, trustworthy business. Neither could be further from the truth. LoadLink is like EBay or Kijiji, an old style newspaper want ad, or any other marketplace. Someone wants to sell something and if you’re interested, you buy. Figuring out what you’re buying, how much it costs and most importantly, who you’re buying from, are all your responsibilities, no one else’s.
