If large freight forwarders still want to want to assist their customers or if the BCO wants the freight forwarders to continue to assist; the BCO can set the freight forwarder up as a user on the MAERSK account and pay them accordingly to handle the work. The end result is that the 16K markup would become blatantly apparent which was the original point.
This is the way that CN has always done their work - direct with BCO.

I hope that we see more of this happening.
