we ahve a few oustanding invoices - i just spoke with Maureen in accts payable who said there next chq run is Aug 15th - Stacey acct Manager is away until Monday Aug 11th - if payment is required before the 15 - only Stacey can approve it... we have 6 pymts outstanding 3 orders 45 days - 3orders 35 days and less

Contact I have for A/P is Maria - mflores@ltlexpedited.com. I cut them off in March - took 90+ days on a $3800 invoice and partially paid others also overdue. I was advised they were having cash flow problems - hence the reason for partial payments against invoices. Beware.....
 
Is there more to the story?

Who is you contact there? I have invoices around 70 days old!!
 
Anyone have current payment trends (past few months) for LTL Expedited Air - Woodbridge. They were not doing so well last Fall - perhaps things have changed...

Any information is greatly appreciated.
 
I know they have a lot of automotive accounts... could be why they have cash flow problems. when things are slowed down, the revenue stream slows too. I haven't ha problems with them but usually paid in 45 dys or so
 
We cut them off couple of months ago. Always over 90 days. Only a couple of people left over there. BE CAREFULL
 
beware

Have 1 invoice for 850 from may, 90 days, was promised cheque run on Friday, called following Tuesday and was told maybe by the end of the month. I would stay away from them. These kind of freight brokers need to be put out of business. My suppliers all expect to get paid in 30 days and so do I. If you can't handle your payables, do not tell me you pay in thirty days. I am very blunt with new brokers and ask them up front if they are good thirty day payers. All I am looking for is an honest answer, if you pay in 45 or 60 days, tell me and I will probably haul your load. Do not lie or your reputation will put you out of business. I would rather be honest and tell a supplier that cash flow is tight and they might have to wait an extra week or two than to b s them and have them get angry with me. HONESTY AND INTEGRITY ARE THE BEST POLICY! I am not a big company but I am honest and reliable.

Yes, everybody is having problems collecting from them. I call and talk to John - he is apparently the VP or something and does seem to be able to give straight answers... claims it is the automotive industry payments slowing down his payables and it will correct itself in September... time will tell... I would not let them in too deep.

Ranger Express Forwarding & LTL Expedited??

Anyone hear of Ranger Express Forwarding (Bath Road, Mississauga) and LTL Expedited merging? Just trying to figure out if 1 bought the other perhaps? Have an order with Ranger being traced by an LTL Expedited email? Also rated LTL Expedited on a move and got the order from Ranger. The Ranger order is on the computer system LTL used to use. We have not had problems with Ranger in the past, just slow on the payments from LTL Expedited in the past. Tryin to figure out what exactly is goin on with this situation if anyone has any info?
 
Ranger and LTL have merged- LTL are slow payers but so far have paid everything. From my understanding after LTL takes care of their payable and receivables the 2 companies will operate under Ranger. I am hearing ranger will be on a 45 day term.
