Hey all, looking to build my carrier Data Base as we do not use the Link, so was hoping that all you carriers that are members here would be so kind as to send me a private message with your co-ordinates, contact, phone number, etc. I will be putting everything in my *bible* and would hope to be in contact with you soon. Getting loads out of everywhere now, so need to build a good carrier relationship with you all.

I work with Service by Air - SBA Global logistics, we have 56 locations throughout North America and have a pretty good reputation for getting our bills paid on time. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Valerie

Laudable effort for sure. Good luck :)
On the right side of this page is a place for donations. If you're going to advertise, at least drop a dime to the adminstrator.

wouldn't it be a lot faster to subscribe to Link or another service for a year and see if it was a valuable service for your company?
many companies offer this type of matching service.
also you can post your available freight right on this forum and people who are interested will contact you.

I would just like to offer some back up for Valerie K's goal of building her database by reaching out to people on this forum. I might go as far as to say that having a solid database of contacts that you can rely on is far more beneficial in my opinion that Loadlink. Sure most of us subscribe and do use it, but I don't think it's impossible to run your business without it. :0) Happy Friday everyone!

To G Roch, we tried the link for a year and it just didn't pay for itself. I have a solid Quebec Database and was looking to extend to other provinces. Having a more extensive carrier base in other provinces will enable me to not have to *double broker* (which I hate doing) and deal with the actual transporting company. I will actually be posting loads that I cannot cover on here, but still wanted a contact list to call if my freight is in your area.

To Chica 123, I have been on this site for a few years now and go on once in a while, but reasoning for having a good solid database is because when you post on the link, you never know who really is going to be getting your freight, so I figured doing it this way was more personable. I intend to be more active now thank you for the support :)

Thank you to the individual who did send me their contact information, I have put you in my bible and will be contacting you soon :) Whomever else wishes to send me their info please feel free so that I will have a direct link with your services. I'm sure that some of you know who I am as I have been in this business for many years and am using my real name....... :)

Kind Regards,

I have to agree with chica 123 .. we also gave up our Loadlink account. We found that we were using the same reliable brokers over and over, and accessing the link less and less. In the end it simply became unaffordable. For the few times a year that I get stumped, I can bounce the truck empty and still save money.

funny I have had issue with Loadlink not willing to let us use three numbers, telling us we must change our phone system and reconfigure it as they do not allow more than two numbers per account............well no issues I've now cancelled my third person and will strip my account as well down to the bare minimum as well. Think loadlink is totally forgetting who is customer and that we all DO have other options!

Has anyone done business with S.B.A. Global - as per their original thread. I'm looking for payment trends.

Different phone numbers - different addresses here.....

Would appreciate any info.

We give SBA business (3 - 5 shipments a month). I can tell you that all of their stations and partners are reputable carriers (they are forthright and honest as to who is a partner and who is a station). We've asked them to do some pretty funky things (Mall, Church, Inside, Liftgate deliveries etc.) and the job always gets done and gets done well.

What I've found generally... (not always... but mostly) a carrier that services well is "usually" well run from front to back.

My connection (because of our traffic patterns) is in Minnesota.

Valerie,

I have been a SBA carrier for a long time. I have worked with Randy and Tom in Greensboro for 10 years now. Also done some with the Hebron KY office.
