been on cargado for the last 3 months and have not seen any cross border matches yet. Too many substandard brokers and open to way too many driver inc carriers

Excellent article that describes the problem in a concise and thoughtful manner. Carriers and brokers should show this article to prospective customers when submitting your quotes. If a shipper is serious about “comparing apples to apples” in their bid system, then they should be made aware of the unfair advantage a company using the Driver Inc model has over the competition, and the possible repercussions it could have for them.

Will you send me an email? Would love to get your feedback. I just wrote about Driver Inc: https://www.congratsonalltheprogress.com/p/driver-inc-the-canadian-trucking

A good portion of the brokers in our network are in the top 100 in the industry and have great pay terms...
Happy to send you an email - I've also asked the same question of some of your Canadian team a few weeks ago as well with the kind of answer that demonstrated a disconnect between the business plan and the article (great article), just disconnected from the business reality.

Truth is, I want nothing more than for Cargado to succeed as a platform, but...

Curious how everyone is feeling about the Loadlink price increase, yet again? Is DAT lower in price? We have had to update our operating software which has resulted in another $500/month increase, now Loadlink, next will be Insurance. Just looking for an affordable load board for a small carrier. $1000.00/month for Loadlink is not the option.

One of my friend received notice from Load link, today that their price will increase on Nov 01/2025
Did anyone else received any notice?
So far, we did not receive any.

We got notice today as well, text from the email is below. I left out the price increase details incase it is proprietary; I dont want to violate their terms of service and get cut off since they are the only viable load board in Canada

At Loadlink, we understand the importance of delivering a reliable and high-performing freight-matching platform. Over the past year, we’ve enhanced our platform with new features and faster performance to better support your success.

To continue investing in these improvements and delivering more value to your Loadlink subscription, a price adjustment will take effect on your first bill dated on or after November 1, 2025. Your billing schedule will remain unchanged.

Price increase was here

Please note, any recent or upcoming account changes may not be reflected in this letter, and your total price change could differ. The correct amount will appear on your next bill.

Thank you for choosing Loadlink to grow your business.

just got the email as well, and not impressed. They have been steady to roll out these price increases over the last year. Might have to go back the rollerdex.

You are showing your age, I bet many people here don't know what a rolodex is.

Just wait until the younger members of the forum find out that DAT is an acronym and its meaning

Has anyone made the switch fully from Loadlink to DAT? I've had the chance to work within DAT and like it, but haven't taken the plunge to go there instead of LoadLink yet.
