They aren’t selling water or air. If you feel the pricing is too expensive, don’t use them. Yes, they are certainly the most popular load board available today, but there are still others. Let’s not involve the government, at least for now. They are far too controlling and someone should report them to the Canadian government. They are operating a monopoly and ripping us all off with their prices.
Just because they are good at what they do doesn’t mean they are a monopoly or that they are doing anything illegal. Other start ups have tried to enter the market but have failed for any number of different reasons. My reference to water or air was to emphasize that they are not selling an essential product that people are forced to use. For those of us with a few more years under our belts, we remember the days before Load Link, when covering trucks and moving loads meant spending hours on the telephone and sending broadcasts by fax machine. Don’t get me wrong, I am no fan of LL. They are over priced, have extremely loose rules of conduct for their members, have next to no enforcement of their weak rules and generally treat their customers like sh**!But I do support their right to exist. It’s a free market system we live in. Buyer beware. With all due respect, you can buy water or air anywhere. It's much harder to buy a good transportation link. By definition, loadlink has always been a monopoly. Can you steer me to the other three supposed transportation link sites? I have never seen anything close to loadlink.
try Uber freight thenWe can agree to disagree.
I think you've just proven my point about monopolies. That is exactly how they treat customers.
I never said they have no right to exist. I am saying there needs to be competition, then maybe your rates wouldn't be so high.
Have a nice day!
