Any one have any dealings with respect to collecting on a surety bond? We filed a claim back on May 2025 and getting the runaround.

Trust accounts are different than an actual bond. Some didn't even held any funds in the accounts from where claims could be paid. What is Liberty National telling you guys?

Every claim I had made against a bond was usually cleared up between 4-6 weeks. If you're working on a claim for over 6 months then there must be a problem that is not getting addressed.

FMCSA has this information available today.

If you cannot get a hold of the bonding company or they are not processing your claim you can file a complaint to the FMCSA - although that should have been done months ago. When you file a claim you should get a claim number within the week and if not you need to follow up.

Thanks everyone. We got a claim # from Liberty and were in contact for a number of months going back and forth making sure all was in order etc. Than no responses to emails phone calls etc.

Our insurance company tried and went through FMCSA and was getting the run around with them too.
Looks like not only did the load broker go out of business so did their insurance broker
