I have invoice that is 84 days old and had to block my number in order to get them to answer the phone.

Beware.
 
We have an invoice 1/19/16 that hasn't been paid, Get the usual Cheque is in the mail
 
Just had a cheque bounce after 100 days of collections. If anybody has a shipment with them on the go and needs to store it will be happy to. Warehouse charges will apply. Very expensive
 
We went to their office picked up a cheque and it bounced, They said because is was deposited to early, so we went and picked up a second cheque last week It was dated for June 22 so just waiting to see if this one bounces

They have done two shipments for me as well without issues.

Obviously if they cannot make payments to their suppliers they are not doing well. I will put them on my DNU for future shipments.

I keep calling looking for payment keep being told to hold on then get disconected. Poor way to do business
 
Anyone else currently dealing with Layal Transport (previously 5K) out of Mississauga ? We have been doing business with them under the name Layal since February 2016, seemingly without issues. Service has been above average, only one minor issue.

All of a sudden their # is out of order and they can't be reached.

We were also still doing business with them through early August but I just checked and it appears they also have not posted on the LINK in quite some time …..perhaps signs of a company that may have been doing business legitimately for awhile to gain business but could have switched to double brokerage in the end.
 
hello, i was the driver used to work for layal transport.
i worked for them for 3 months.
pls can anyone help me.. i am new member here and i dont know how to post a new thread.
layal transport didnt pay my 5 weeks salary.
7000 dollars they owe me...

these are the 3 partners used to run layal transport.
i was living in saskatchewan and just moved to brampton, ontario.
i was looking for job and i found their add on kijiji...
i joined them. but after 1 month when it was time to get payed.
they didnt paid me on time..
 
i was already going thru a bad financial condition.
these guys threaten me and mentally harassed me.
i was almost in depression because these guys were not paying me and forcing me to work for them so that i can get paid.
i worked for them for 5 weeks free. ending with around 7000 dollars
 
i have filed a complaint in labour court but its 6 months now i have not recovered my money.
 
@Gaurav consult a paralegal or employment lawyer and they should be able to help you.

I feel bad for your crappy situation. I'm sure if you need a good trucking job some carriers here would look to hire you.
 
Good afternoon everyone. Well, we went down the 5k Logistics route before reading this thread and they have now had our BC-bound freight for 2 weeks (after promising 4 days delivery) and are holding it for ransom and won't deliver until we pay them. This after a rather heated exchange with "Ricky" about where our freight was. He must have dropped 20 f-bombs on me in one minute (keeping in mind I am his customer). I'm about to file a report with the police and not sure that will help or not. Does anyone have anything further to add to the below comments that might prove helpful here?
