so after months and months of her calling me for loads I finally gave her a load to NS. Emailed the dispatch to her and she confirmed she got it.
Day of pick up they confirmed they were tracking on time for p/u then would just start hanging up on us.
Then stopped picking up the phone.
Won't ever use them again needless to say.

We had the same problem with them. The only difference is that it was a different lane.

Funny thing was, the next day we put in a phantom posting in link with an OB load (though we were actually looking at the time to round trip someone). She calls asking for the load THE DAY AFTER and is surprised when I tell her I won't give it to her.

Took a load from them from GTA to Montreal - never had so much problem with a load!

Will never give them one of my load, seeing how they are handling their own!

I can't see how they would have their own freight. Very small and unprofessional. It was probably double brokered.

As soon as I saw the name I remembered these bozo's.

Gave them an exclusive use load "No other freight on this trailer" written all over our confirmation. (the shipper won't even load you if you have a stack of empty pallets on your trailer). The load was 24 skids. They hand piled two skids worth of freight up the centre to get 10 drums on the back.

Wait... it gets better...

Then... they showed up at the customer that booked the full load and asked them to move the 10 drums so they could get their freight off. The driver asked the receiver not to say anything because they weren't supposed to be putting freight on the back of the load.

Idiots...

I'd rather tell a customer I can't find a truck before I give more freight to these people.

They're just posting a round trip from Brampton to Berea, KY. Maybe another service failure waiting to happen ?

I'm sure if you offer them something stupid like $3000 they'll do it. But if someone comes in at $3005, plop right back in your lap.

Just took a load from them last week and decided to do some investigating based on their UNprofessional phone manner, seeing their mess of a load confirmation, contradicting pickup info, and that they had a small brampton crossdock as the consignee.
I suppose all this would raise anyones brows...

(Noticed a new company, Kelly Transportation, on Truckstop over the past month posting quite a bit of loads, though never called to inquire)

I called shipper to confirm load.. wrong pickup # and never heard of Lakh Datta. They were good enough to tell me who the consignee was though.
Called consignee, and was able to find out who they use as a broker.
Called Broker who confirmed that it was their load and found that they gave the load to Kelly Transportation.

JD Factors stated that Lakh Datta and Kelly Transportation are the same company.

All was sorted out and balance was restored for the time being.

So if you didn't already know..
Lakh Datta and Kelly Transportation are the same company.. playing off each other by booking and flipping loads.

Bunch of Monkeys.. stay away.

They called me today on one of my postings. Once I received their paper work their name started ringing alarms so I checked them out here and saw all this.

So I decided to do a load search on the Link and getloaded. And not to my surprise Kelly Transport was posting the exact same load that I had on the exact same day as my pick up.

"JD Factors stated that Lakh Datta and Kelly Transportation are the same company."

which Kelly Transportation is this?

Lakh Datta has once again surfaced but now operating as YOURWAY TRANSPORT INC out of Brampton. Think twice before you do any business with this company. You can read all the threads about Lakh Datta and you will see why.
