OK...well tell me how a carrier can move a load to CA for $0.99 per mile.....that's the news I get from Lakeside.....my $1.70 was too high...reefer at that! LOL...some carriers amaze me!
Honestly, I don't know how anyone can make money at all running California .. it only works when the backhauls to GTA are paying $8000 or something, in my opinion.

I will not name names but some carriers have dedicated themselves to many loads per week out of California and have in the past and continue to run trucks out mty to get them. Therefore they figure 99 cents is better than mty I guess. Does it hurt everyone else sure does but!!
That's competition though. If they can make money on the round with such low rates out of CA then more power to them. Nobody is looking out for the industry as a whole...each company does what is in its own best interest. And some take the view that hurting a competitor in the process is a bonus and a good thing.
