Anyone having trouble getting paid by Kriska? Says they cut cheques once a month and it seems like they don't even do that. Just over 50 days and their CFO is signing cheques at the end of the month, mailing in May. You just know that the owner of Kriska wants HIS money in 30 days too and wouldn't put up with the way he pays carriers.

Kriska was one of the 50 "Best Managed Companies" last year. Best managed at not paying their bills in a timely manner. We quit hauling for them over a year ago. DNU for sure.
 
Payment terms

Just had something similar from a Company out of Ontario.
I am not sure if they are a carrier or a broker.
We had agreed on 30 day terms.
Since it was the 1st time we had done business we followed up real early on when the check would be issued.
It turned out to be 60 days after the delivery.

I spoke to payables and they seemed nice enough and since they were a new company , we accepted the delay.

A week later when looking through the pile ( ever increasing) of tardy payer's. I ran accross the carrier contract from the week before.

I was astounded to see that they were offering quick pay @ 5% discount.

I called back payables and let them have a peice of my mind. I mentionned that it was quite unethical for them to use the monies due to us to pay carriers at a discount. They were in transport not banking!
 
Well, I've put Kriska on DNU after their logistics division promised to make sure we were going to be paid in a timely manner. Talked to Debbie about an invoice sitting at 34 days wouldn't be paid until the end of the month so then I spoke to their CFO, Pierre Carriere. He arrogantly and almost proudly said they pay 40-70 days and if we don't like their terms, we don't have to deal with them. Unreal. They're going to pay our last invoice next week, oddly enough lol.
 
This thread is quite old so just wondering if anyone has updated payment info for this company?
 
Wondering if anyone has had any recent dealings with this company? Kriska Holdings (Transportation) out of Prescott ON.

Well, I told dispatch to take just one load and we'll see how they do. I'll be sure to report back!

Good to hear ht! Searching back a couple years in posts it looked like they used to be pretty bad, so they must have cleaned up their act. Have you heard anything of them being affiliated with Mill Creek?
