Keena Transport

I have to agree with Shakey. They have done many loads for us and I do not recall one issue.

Put a stop payment on the check. Most likely it was double brokered and that is why they will not give you the P.O.D. If it was me it would be no check till I get P.O.D.

We have been using them for years and I admit there was one mix up a couple years back and our freight never got picked up but other than that they have been great. And I never found Rob, Chris or anyone there rude or unreasonable. They do good for us. IMHO

We have used them for a few years. I think they are good guys. Had a couple errors but made good on them. reasonable guys. Just my opinion from my experience.

I booked a full load with Rob @ Keena at the end of Feb 2011 from BC to GA. I asked Rob about some of the issues listed in this thread. He was aware of this thread and said there was one particular customer/ issue a year or more ago but that was it. We had worked with several years ago and no issues. So I used him and had no issues. Rob communicated well and truck picked and delivered on time. As Rob says, they are a family run business. What ever issue happened is in the past. I will continue to work with Keena as they have lived up to their committments to date.

Keena

Well unfortunatly companies like ours who have been in business for a while (since 1981 ) and assume when we do business with another company such as Keena who we assume has a good reputation then leave a load on a shippers dock without as much as a phone call makes me wonder how good there reputation is, as you all know communication whether good or bad is still communication and generally that is all it takes to fix the issue, All I know is Keena left our freight on our customers dock without as much as a phone call and put out customer in jeopardy with line production, to me that warrants DNU

Sammy... I too dealt with Keena for years with little or no issues.

However, when things go sideways with these guys. They really go sideways and their "I don't give a crap" attitude comes out.

In my case they felt that the freight that I moved through them was "theirs" not mine. When they made our DNU list... guess who's door they knocked on with rates lower than what I was paying to them?

I think that the general vibe on this thread is... be careful as they don't treat everyone equally.

Back door solicitors. Lost our FL loads, now our customer uses them direct.
