I would like to start out by saying that this site has helped many carriers and brokers make informed decisions on how to operate their business, and that the senior members have made the biggest contributions and should be thanked.

That being said - what I said yesterday really bothered me. There was a thread that was dead - that a senior member felt they should rehash by bringing to light - the payment terms of another senior member's company had improved dramatically. This is what this site is for.

Then when another member reads this post and realizes they are still trying to collect on an invoice that was billed 35-40 days older than that, she got slammed for it. I'm sorry but this is wrong. If a member is senior or not should have no bearing on anything and everyone should be held to the same standard. Yesterday there was a thread on Airgroup and their service level, they are a member of this board and some have good experiences including myself and others not so good. Other members can read the comments and make their own decision on whether or not to use them.

Please lets continue to use this site for its intended purpose.

I have to agree with you on this.

Mike Jr is a very usefull member of the fourm and was 100% behind his word in getting our invoices paid in a timely manner for which we continue to have a good relationship between our companies. But if another company is having troubles a PM or short post is nessecary for others to see. Slamming him is not and I believe that is why our little spell check lady Irish'd up - standing behind him and other members - myself included. She deserves a pat on the back for loyalty..

That being said - just because I am a senior member or what ever should have no bearing whatsoever unless it is maybe a 1or 2 post newby that is maybe just spammning the site to trash someone. I find this site very useful and use it on a daily basis.

Thank you to Admin and the Moderators for the great work they do and coming up with this site!!

Hello,

I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say that all information is useful from anyone's view point. I guess we have to do our best to keep professional in our views and work together and try not to get all hot headed about our daily challeneges. If two companies have a better relationship with each other that are on this site more so than the 3rd one then maybe try to find a soultion on how to mend that?

I agree with Maggs and give far more weight to professional comments. It reflects poorly on one's business when the comments get personal and attack other members' integrity. We all have user names, but we know who many of these members work for as do others know who we are. So when we put forth intelligent, useful information it reflects well on our business. The opposite is also true.
