Picked up a load for us on June 29/10 in Brandon, MB and delivery was to be after the US long weekend on July 6/10 in Mastic, NY. Everything was clearly spelled out on the confirmation as to the loading and delivery dates times.
The next day when we called Gary to find out where the truck was, he didn't know but would find out and call us back. He also wanted to know if he could change the delivery date to Friday July the 2nd. We told him to make arrangements with the reciever and, if he could accomodate, then it's ok with us.
The reciever could not change the the unload date because everyone was gone for the long weekend and he would have to wait till Tuesday.
He harrassed everyone he could talk to at the reciever company and threatened to "chain your crap to a tree and drag it off the truck".
When we recieved the call from our client as to what was happening, we called him and sent an email telling him to cease and desist immediately and honor his contract. He said he had another load in KY to pick up and that's where we would find this product if we didn't find him another place to unload.
We did find another carrier to take it off his truck and deliver it as promised. And a big THANK YOU to Elite Services from Denver, PA. What a great bunch of people...
And then he wants us to honor the confirmation rate.... Yeah, right... So not happening. Beware if you give this carrier freight. You could find it chained to a tree somewhere...
