JDW from Sarnia

I booked an LTL shipment out of Holland MI with them last October. They took the freight and called the shipper. The shipper asked them who they were picking up for and they were surprised. Cheryl called me and gave the freight back since the shipper asked too many questions. Found the whole ordeal odd.

There is a guy there (Jeff?). I think he was mixed up with Hostler Trspt. a few years back. If you ever gave freight to Hostler... You'd likely wished that you didn't.

Be careful.

They moved 2 skids for me a couple weeks ago from MN to ON and picked up and delivered with no problems

Sold out to Travellers? I remember things quite a bit differently. Went bankrupt, had the Jaguar repo'd and burnt us for a wack of cash. FYI

Jeff Dewolf had Dewolf Transport and it went broke, was taken over by Travellers and he then started up Hostler Transport, went broke again and burned a ton of people and most of his drivers and employees. He would screw any one for a buck and do what ever it takes to make himself look good. Snake in the grass but comes off as your best buddy. People beware!!!!!!!!

Well people, as far as service failures go....unfortunately ,we all have them. As far as returning freight because of a couple of questions, it wouldnt have happened. I am truly sorry that your experience wasnt what you expected but I think maybe digging a little further into your memory bank might serve you well. If freight was returned to you, there would have to be a lot more to it. Really, I dont scare that easily.

Have never had an issue with them. I actually like working with Cheryl alot. Other dispatcher in my office also give them a fair number of loads without issue

JDW has a perfectly happy customer here.

We usually deal with Cheryl, but in the past Richard also.

41 shipments together in the last year (ok, 13 months) and I've not had to complain about service nor communication even once. Those are good odds in my books.

Keep well,

Mike
